Piraeus port isn’t one place. It’s a zone spread over several kilometres of coastline with twelve numbered gates. The distance between E1 and E12 isn’t one you cover on foot with luggage and a sailing to catch.

So we don’t ask you to come to us. Port delivery happens at whichever gate serves you, free of charge, timed to your ferry. You step off the boat and the vehicle is already there.

How it works

  1. Send us the sailing: operator, vessel and arrival or departure time.
  2. We confirm the gate and agree an exact meeting point.
  3. We’re waiting there with the vehicle checked and the paperwork ready.
  4. Handover takes about ten minutes, including the walk-around inspection.

If your ferry runs late — and in Piraeus they do — you aren’t charged for it. We track the sailing and adjust. Just keep your phone on.

Why at the port

What gate delivery gets you

  • No walking with luggage

You don't cross the port or hunt for an office. The vehicle comes to your gate.

  • No location fee

Delivery and collection at gates E1–E12 carry no charge whatsoever.

  • Flexibility on delays

We track the ferry. A late arrival doesn't mean an extra cost.

  • Out-of-hours handover

Many sailings land early morning or late at night. There's no surcharge.

  • Return at your departure gate

On the day you sail, we collect the vehicle where you board.

  • Help finding the right gate

If you don't know where your ferry leaves from, we'll tell you before you arrive.

Which gate concerns you

The mapping of gate to destination is broadly stable, but individual sailings move. Your ticket always wins. As a guide:

If you’re travelling with the vehicle

Vehicle loading closes markedly earlier than foot boarding — often thirty to sixty minutes before departure. Allow for a queue at the gate entrance too, particularly on July and August evenings. Taking the rental to an island needs our written approval — see what applies.

Which vehicle to choose

If you’re continuing to an island, remember you’ll load and unload twice, and that the vehicle ferry ticket is priced on length. A smaller car costs less on the boat as well. Travelling as a group, look at the nine-seat minibus, which replaces two vehicles and two tickets.

Getting there without a car

Piraeus Metro station, on Lines 1 and 3, sits beside the central gates. Coming from the airport, Line 3 brings you directly with no change — more in the airport to Piraeus guide.
