Below are the questions we field every day, answered the way we would answer them on the phone. If something is not covered, call +30 694 564 6658 or write to us from the contact page — we usually reply the same day.
Booking and collection
A valid driving licence held for at least one year, an ID card or passport, and a card in the driver's name for the deposit. Licences issued outside the EU usually also require an International Driving Permit alongside the original.
At your gate. We deliver to every gate from E1 to E12 at no charge. Send us your sailing and arrival time and we message you the exact meeting point shortly before you dock.
Yes. Normal hours are 08:00 to 22:00 daily, but we cover ferry arrivals and departures outside that. Out-of-hours delivery may carry a surcharge, which is included in the quote you receive rather than added at handover.
The earlier the better, particularly from June to September. Automatics and nine-seat minibuses are the first to go. Out of season we can usually cover same-day requests.
At the collection point, or anywhere else within Piraeus by arrangement and at no extra charge. The vehicle is returned with the same fuel level it was collected with. Returns at the port can be made outside office hours provided you tell us in advance.
No, anywhere in Piraeus: the port, the city centre, Nikaia, Korydallos, Keratsini, Drapetsona and Moschato. For delivery beyond that area, ask us when you book.
Prices and charges
Because the price depends on season, duration, group and availability, and a fixed headline rate would be wrong half the time. Send your request and you get a final price, usually the same day.
No. The quoted price is final and includes VAT, third-party insurance, unlimited mileage, a second driver and delivery within Piraeus. Anything that costs extra — a child seat, comprehensive cover, out-of-hours delivery — is itemised in the quote before you commit.
Third-party liability and a collision damage waiver (CDW) with an excess that depends on the vehicle group. The excess is the maximum amount you would be asked to cover in the event of damage.
Yes. We offer cover that removes or substantially reduces the excess, plus separate tyre and glass cover, which the basic insurance does not include. If you will be on unsurfaced roads or travelling to an island, it is worth taking.
Drivers aged 23 to 25 may be subject to a small daily surcharge. It appears in the quote, so you know about it before you commit and it does not appear at collection.
Yes, for most groups. We accept debit cards and, by arrangement, cash, with a deposit paid up front. The details by group are on our page about renting without a credit card.
Drivers, vehicles and travel
23 for most groups, with a licence held for at least one year. Stricter age and experience criteria apply to the larger groups, the vans and the minibuses.
No. A second driver is included at no cost, provided they meet the same age and licence requirements and are declared before handover so the insurance covers them.
Yes, but it requires our written approval in advance and a ferry authorisation certificate, which we issue when you book. Without it the insurance may not apply outside mainland Greece. Mention it from the start.
Leaving the country also requires written approval in advance and is not available for every group. Ask us before booking rather than after.
No. A category B licence covers vehicles of up to nine seats in total and up to 3.5 tonnes gross, which is every van and minibus in our fleet.
A category B car licence covers mopeds up to 50cc. A 125cc requires A1, and larger machines A2 or A. There is no exemption based on when the licence was issued.
Yes, in all sizes and at no charge. Tell us the child's age and weight so we can prepare the correct seat and fit it before delivery.
Monthly hire
One month. There is no multi-year commitment and no early-termination clause. The longer the term, the lower the monthly cost.
Servicing and maintenance, insurance, road tax, MOT, tyres, 24/7 roadside assistance and a replacement vehicle in the event of a breakdown. You pay for fuel, tolls and any fines.
Yes, with notice and subject to availability. It is common on longer contracts: a small car through the winter, something larger or a van over the summer.
Monthly hire has a fixed monthly cost that includes servicing and insurance, and works out considerably cheaper per day than individual rentals for periods over about three weeks. Daily rental is the better answer for short periods.
Yes, with a monthly invoice in the company's details. For fleets of two vehicles and up the billing is consolidated and the terms are shaped around the size of the fleet.
If something goes wrong
Call 100 for the police first if anyone is injured or fault is disputed, then call us on +30 694 564 6658, at any hour. Complete a European accident statement with the other driver and photograph the scene. We guide you through the claim and arrange a replacement vehicle if one is needed.
You call roadside assistance, which is included and operates around the clock across Greece. Provided the fault is not the result of misuse, we replace the vehicle at no charge.
Nothing. We track the sailings and adjust the delivery or collection time at no charge. Ferry delays are part of our working day in Piraeus, not an exception.
Fines are the driver's responsibility. If one reaches us after the vehicle is returned, we send you the details of the offence so you can settle it.
Didn't find your answer?
Send us your question along with your dates and the vehicle you need. We usually reply the same day.
