Not everyone arrives in Piraeus by ferry. If you live in the city, came in on the metro from the airport, work in one of the shipping offices along Akti Miaouli, or are staying at a hotel in the centre, city delivery serves you better than the port does.
The reason is practical, and anyone who has done it both ways knows it: at ferry departure times, the exit through the port gates is slow. Collecting in the centre puts you straight onto the road towards Athens or the Attiki Odos without passing through the port zone at all.
Where exactly we deliver
Anywhere in the centre, at no charge. In practice the points asked for most often are Dimotiko Theatro station on Line 3, the main Piraeus station on Lines 1 and 3, the hotels around Akti Miaouli and Zea, and the marinas at Zea, Mikrolimano and Flisvos. Give us an address and a time and we are there.
If your trip starts or ends with a ferry, the page you want is collection at the port, where we deliver directly to gates E1 through E12.
What works in the city
In Piraeus the size of the car matters more than anywhere else in Attica. The streets are narrow and parking is controlled.
What you gain
Same car, same price, different collection point. The difference is in the time and the route out.
Hotel delivery
We bring the car to your hotel reception, anywhere in central Piraeus.
Next to the metro
Meet us outside Dimotiko Theatro station or the main Piraeus station.
No port traffic
Set off without passing the gates during ferry departure hours.
Marina service
Zea, Mikrolimano and Flisvos, for anyone arriving or leaving by boat.
Shipping offices
Delivery on Akti Miaouli and the surrounding streets, timed so you don't miss a meeting.
Return where it suits
You are not obliged to return to the same point. We arrange it with you.
Driving and parking in the centre
Parking is the real question
Much of central Piraeus is a controlled parking zone: blue lines for visitors, white for residents with a permit. A small category A or B car is not just cheaper, it is materially easier to live with day to day. If you plan to leave the car in the city for several hours, the private car parks around Akti Miaouli and Zea work out cheaper than a fine.
The spots that need care, the controlled-parking hours and the routes out towards Athens are collected in our guide to driving and parking in Piraeus.
Getting out towards Athens and the south
From the centre, Schistou Avenue and Athinon Avenue put you quickly onto the Attiki Odos and the Athens–Corinth motorway. Heading south, the coastal road through Moschato and Kallithea is the more pleasant run to Glyfada and Sounio. Either way you save time by starting from the city rather than from the port zone.
For business visits
Piraeus is the shipping centre of Greece and a business visit usually runs to a tight schedule. We deliver to the address and time you give us, with the car clean and the tank full. If your stay runs beyond a month, monthly hire costs considerably less per day and includes servicing and insurance.
For Piraeus residents
You do not have to be a visitor. If your own car is in the workshop, if you need a second vehicle for a few days, or if you want something bigger for a weekend, we bring it to your door and collect it from there. The same applies in Nikaia, Korydallos and Keratsini.
Frequently asked
Wherever suits you: your hotel, your office, your home, or outside the metro station. There is no branch you have to travel to. Give us an address and a time and we meet you there.
No. Delivery and collection anywhere in central Piraeus is free, as it is at the port and in Nikaia, Korydallos and Keratsini.
At Dimotiko Theatro station or the main Piraeus station, whichever is more convenient. Line 3 runs directly from the airport to Piraeus, so there is no change needed.
It isn't different in price or vehicle — only in location. The port suits people arriving or departing by ferry who want the car at their gate. The centre suits people already in the city who want to avoid gate traffic.
Yes, by arrangement. Collecting in the centre and returning at the port, or the reverse, is very common and carries no extra charge within Piraeus.
Much of the centre is a controlled parking zone: blue lines are paid visitor parking, white lines are for residents with a permit. For longer stays the private car parks around Akti Miaouli and Zea are the better option.
Yes — Zea Marina, Mikrolimano and Flisvos Marina. If you are arriving or departing by boat, tell us the time and the berth.
