Line 3Nikaia station

Nikaia is one of the densest municipalities on the western side of Piraeus, with its own market, its own traffic and a very specific parking problem. Nikaia station on Line 3 solved the connection to central Athens, but for anything the Metro doesn’t cover — a day out, a house move, a bulk shop — you need a vehicle.

We deliver free of charge across the whole of Nikaia: to your address, to the Metro station, or wherever suits you. There’s no need to come down to Piraeus to collect.

Where exactly we cover

The full extent of the municipality, from the area around Petrou Ralli out to the boundaries with Korydallos and Renti. Delivery is usually within thirty minutes of agreeing a time, and quicker outside the peak on Grigoriou Lampraki.

Vehicles

What you can rent in Nikaia

All four categories are delivered in the area, on the same terms that apply at the port.

  • Car

Small cars for the narrow streets and daily parking, family cars and SUVs for trips outside Attica.

  • Van and minibus

Five to nine seats for family travel, plus panel vans for moves within the municipality.

  • Motorbike

For anyone commuting daily to Piraeus or central Athens who wants to skip the traffic.

  • Scooter

The most practical option for Nikaia: easy parking and low running costs.

  • Monthly hire

For professionals and residents needing a vehicle permanently without buying one.

  • Metro delivery

If you're arriving from Athens on Line 3, we'll meet you at the station exit.

Practicalities in Nikaia

Parking

Along the main roads and around the market, parking is hard on weekdays until the evening. Higher up in the residential streets you find a space more easily. If the vehicle will sit parked for days, a small car or a scooter saves you real time every night.

Getting to the port

Allow fifteen to twenty-five minutes from Nikaia to the port gates, depending on the hour. If you’re catching a ferry, leave a margin: traffic at the port entrance before major departures is unpredictable. See our port pickup guide.

Heading out of Attica

Nikaia has good access to Schisto Avenue and from there to the Attiki Odos. For the Peloponnese or central Greece without crossing the city, it’s a distinctly more convenient starting point than Piraeus itself.

Neighbouring areas

We serve Korydallos and Keratsinion identical terms. If you’re near a municipal boundary, it makes no difference which page you enquire from.
