Which Driving Licences Are Accepted?
For non-EU travellers, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is strongly recommended. It is issued in your home country and must be carried alongside your national licence.
Important note for international travellers
If your licence is not in the Latin alphabet (e.g. Chinese, Arabic, Cyrillic), an International Driving Permit (IDP) is mandatory. It cannot be obtained in Greece — arrange it before you travel.
